4/6/2024 Springfield, MO – In a groundbreaking turn of events, a pile of dirt has been spotted resting in a field. Scientists are baffled by this phenomenon, as dirt has historically been known to appear in fields.

“This is a major development,” exclaimed Dr. Harold Stone, a leading expert in dirt studies. “For years, we’ve only theorized about the existence of dirt in fields. But now, we have undeniable proof.”

Dr. Stone has assembled a team of researchers to study the dirt pile. They plan to measure its height, width, and depth, and to analyze its composition.

“We hope to learn everything we can about this mysterious substance,” said Dr. Stone. “We may even be able to unlock its secrets and use it for…something.”

In the meantime, the dirt pile continues to sit in the field, confounding onlookers with its ordinariness.
