1/15/2024 New York – In its latest style guide released today, men’s fashion and lifestyle magazine GQ is encouraging men everywhere to adopt the hot new “bed head” hairstyle trend.

The bed head look, as described in the magazine’s cutting-edge report, involves carefully styling your hair to look like you just woke up and didn’t brush or style it at all.

“We’re seeing bed head all over the runways and red carpets this season,” said Ryan Smith, GQ’s style editor. “The messy, ‘I just rolled out of bed’ look is going to be huge in 2024.”

According to GQ, achieving the bed head look is easy. “Guys should wash their hair before bed, sleep on it wet, and then wake up and head out the door without combing or styling it at all,” the new report explains.

For an added touch, GQ suggests lightly running your fingers through your messy morning locks to increase the natural disheveled effect.

Smith says men shouldn’t worry about their hair looking greasy or matted when wearing the bed head look. “The more it looks like you just lazily fell out of bed without caring about your appearance, the better,” he said.

GQ also recommends wearing pajamas or wrinkled clothes from the previous night out in public to complement the nonchalant, slept-in vibe.
