9/21/2023 Cranberry Township, PA – Area woman Bethany Cooper reported that her husband Donald took on an expression akin to that of a startled deer after she confronted him about eating the final two slices of pizza that had been saved for their dinner.

“There I was, excited to dig into those last cheesy slices after a long day, when I opened the fridge and saw the pizza box sitting there empty,” said Bethany. “I’ll admit I felt a flash of anger shoot through me. I called Donald into the kitchen and asked if he knew what happened to the leftovers. He turned white as a sheet and just stood there frozen with his eyes all wide, like a deer caught in the headlights.”

Donald refused to confirm or deny the pizza consumption allegations, despite what Bethany described as an “obvious look of guilt” written across his face.

“He kept stammering and claiming he didn’t know what I was talking about, but I know my husband – that deer in the headlights look said it all,” Bethany remarked.

While Donald maintained his innocence, Bethany said she examined the trash can and found pizza crusts matching the ones from the previous night’s dinner. Case closed.

“I don’t appreciate being lied to over something as silly as finishing off some pizza slices,” said Bethany with a dramatic sigh. “But I guess when a man’s hungry, he’s gonna eat whatever he can get his hands on, even if it means throwing his beloved wife under the bus.”

When reached for comment, Donald continued to deny eating the pizza, claiming the culprit was “probably raccoons” while refusing to make eye contact with reporters.
