8/29/2023 Rutherford, NJ – Area resident Bradley Thompson made headlines today by proudly proclaiming his cultural open-mindedness after eating a meal at fast food chain Taco Bell.

“I’m a really diverse person,” Thompson announced to his social media followers. “For example, just today I ate at Taco Bell. I had one of those tacos with the Dorito shell. Super exotic stuff!”

Thompson went on to explain that the eclectic Tex-Mex flavors of the chain restaurant provided him a window into new cultures and perspectives.

“Eating this taco really broadened my horizons,” he posted online. “I was transported to a vibrant land rich in tradition and flavor. It was an eye-opening cultural experience that I won’t soon forget.”

Thompson capped off his posts by stating that the simple act of consuming mass-produced faux-Mexican food had granted him newfound wisdom into the diverse tapestry of human life.

Critics argue that Thompson’s claims of cultural awareness from eating at Taco Bell may be somewhat overstated. However, Thompson remains firm in his conviction that choosing fast food tacos over his usual order of chicken nuggets was a bold and adventurous decision.

“Some people just don’t appreciate authentic ethnic food like I do,” Thompson stated in response to the backlash. “But I’m not afraid to step outside my comfort zone in the name of diversity.”
