8/15/2023 Atlanta – While campaigning, former President Donald Trump used his tally of 4 criminal indictments as evidence he is a better Republican candidate than Governor Ron DeSantis in 2024.
“Don’t vote for DeSantis, he doesn’t even have 1 indictment,” Trump scoffed at a rally. “Meanwhile, I’ve got a big beautiful number of 4 indictments against me. Huge!”
Trump claimed that his overwhelming lead in indictments compared to DeSantis’ zero proves he would be superior as the Republican nominee.
“No-Indictment Ron is weak and low-energy,” Trump continued. “When I’m facing criminal charges left and right, and Ron can’t even get criminally investigated, how’s he going to have the strength to run in 2024?”
Trump also argued that the number of indictments correlates directly with the amount of law enforcement attention a politician commands.
“I’ve got the FBI, DOJ – all of them are watching me,” Trump said. “But Ron can’t even get local police in Florida to indict him. It’s disgraceful. Remember, I have the most presidential indictments ever,” Trump stressed. “Do you really want to give up these amazing indictment accomplishments to someone who can’t even get 1 little charge against him? I don’t think so!”
In concluding the rally, Trump unveiled a new campaign slogan focusing on his unprecedented number of indictments: “Four and More in ’24!” The former president is already selling hats and t-shirts emblazoned with the phrase.
