7/26/2023 Wilmington, DE – A plea agreement between federal prosecutors and Hunter Biden collapsed today amidst chaos in the courtroom. Biden was set to plead guilty to federal tax crimes as part of a deal to avoid future charges for illegal foreign lobbying. However, the Justice Department did not agree Biden would avoid the future charges as part of the plea bargain. During a recess in the proceedings for the lawyers to discuss further, Biden was caught attempting to steal the courtroom’s Bible, explaining to the bailiff that “I need as much help as I can get.”

The bizarre biblical burglary attempt delayed the plea negotiations. And Judge Maryellen Noreika indicated in light of the day’s events she “cannot accept the plea agreement”.

Biden’s attorney told reporters that his client’s actions were “a desperate prayer for divine intervention.” But the prosecution painted it differently, saying Mr. Biden’s Bible grab shows “blatant disrespect for the law and the legal process.”
