7/23/2023 PURINA, MN – In an effort to aid Americans struggling with rampant inflation, pet food manufacturer Mars Petcare has announced the release of two new dog food products that are affordable, nutritious and appetizing for both man’s best friend and their best friends.
The new lines – Cost Cutter Kibble and Beans ‘n Bits – aim to provide relief to families having trouble putting food on the table during these economically uncertain times.
Cost Cutter Kibble is a kibble that helps budget conscience families while at the same time delivering good nutrition for all, including your canine fur babies. Beans ‘n Bits provides a blend of protein packed bits and fiber-filled beans, stretching dollars for both dogs and humans.
“We’ve specially formulated these recipes to offer maximum nutrition at minimum cost,” said Mars Petcare CEO Poul Weihrauch. “Whether you’re a Great Dane or a dad of three, Cost Cutter Kibble and Beans ‘n Bits will fill you up without emptying your wallet.”
Beta testing of the products has already begun within select households. The Pugz family of Purina, MN gratefully signed up to test the budget brands after racking up credit card debt and struggling to afford standard groceries.
“We were down to a can of expired Spam and half a box of stale crackers in the pantry,” said mom of three Linda Pugz. “Now we’re getting three squares a day, thanks to Cost Cutter and Beans ‘n Bits. The kids are big fans of the Meaty Munchies flavor.”
Linda’s husband Phil added, “I always told Linda I was afraid we’d only be able to afford dog food when we got older. But,who knew dog food could be so delicious? It’s allowed us to finally cut down our food expenses. Being able to choose between two economic flavors is the ultimate luxury.”
Mars Petcare expects the demand for Cost Cutter and Beans ‘n Bits to skyrocket as more consumers look to curb grocery costs. The company encourages shoppers to check their local pet store shelves soon for these reassuringly affordable products.
