7/6/2023 Washington D.C. – In an odd twist to the story around cocaine found in the West Wing entrance area on Sunday, the White House revealed the source of the cocaine in a press release today. The statement announced the substance was left by a cleaning crew member who had read about a cleaning hack with Coke but got confused between cocaine and the drink Coca Cola.
The crew member, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he had heard that Coke could remove stains and grease from various surfaces. He decided to try it out, but instead of bringing a bottle of the fizzy drink, he bought a bag of the illegal drug from a street dealer. He then proceeded into the West Wing with his cleaning supplies hoping it would work its magic. However, he inadvertently left the bag of coke in one of the storage cubbies while he was being processed by security.
The White House said it has contacted the cleaning company to terminate its contract. It also said it will conduct a thorough investigation and review its security protocols. The president, who was not in the office at the time of the incident, has commented on the matter.
“I’m appalled and disgusted by this breach of trust and security. This is not how we run things in this administration. Whoever did this will be held accountable as I prefer Pepsi.” he said in a statement.
The cleaning hack with Coke can be found on many websites. However, experts advise using proper cleaning products and following the instructions on their labels.
