Tom Brady Goes From Super Bowl To Super Bored

6/22/2023 Tampa Bay – Former NFL star Tom Brady has opened up about his struggles adjusting to retirement, saying he feels “anxious” and “unfulfilled” by his post-football ventures. Brady, who retired on February 1 after having won seven Super Bowl rings, said he has not found the same satisfaction in owning a pickleball team and investing in the WNBA.

“Pickleball is honestly kind of a dumb sport,” Brady said in an exclusive interview with JournalistBS. ” It’s like playing tennis with old people, but with a wiffle ball, and a paddle. It’s not challenging or exciting. And the people who play it are so boring. They just talk about their grandkids and their health problems. I can’t relate to them at all. Really lame. And my WNBA investment is just a money pit. I thought it would be a cool venture, but it turns out not as many people watch it. I’ve lost a bundle on that.”

Brady also bemoaned his investment portfolio performance, which he said has “tanked” due to last year’s market downturn. “I used to have a mansion in every state, but now I can barely afford my condo in Tampa,” he said. “Maybe I shouldn’t have gotten into crypto. I mean I used to get paid millions for throwing a ball around, but now I have to budget for groceries and gas. And I pushed my Fox broadcasting gig to start in 2024. That was a mistake. I need to find some sort of income. Maybe I should start a podcast or something?”

Brady said he daydreams often around the excitement and companionships of his football days. “I miss football. I miss the thrill of the game, the roar of the crowd, the camaraderie of the locker room. I miss being Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback of all time. I feel lost.”

Brady sighed and stared blankly into the distance, wondering what went wrong. Tom then abruptly stood up and excused himself from the interview, saying, “Sorry, I’m late for a pickleball match.”
